Street Team
We need people to hit the streets, and spread the word about Headlock on Hunger. This would consist of handing out flyers to people, and asking business owners if they would support the event by displaying our poster.
Word of Mouth
Headlock on Hunger is a non-profit event with limited funding for advertising. Word of mouth is a very powerful thing; especially in the Truckee Meadows. The more people who hear about this event; the bigger impact we can all make on this community. So tell your friends, family, and if you’re comfortable share it with a stranger. Spread the word on social media; invite your friends to the event on Facebook. Post about it on social media; if you see one our posters or barrels around town take a picture, post it with #headlockonhunger, and tag the business.
Financial Support
Without the generosity of local businesses, and private donors Headlock on Hunger would not be possible.
Volunteer at the event
There will be plenty of opportunities to volunteer at the Headlock on Hunger event. We will need a team to help set up the event, as well as one to help tear down afterwards.
Raffle Donation
We are looking for items that will bring more families through the doors to raffle off. If you are a business or know a business that would be interested in supporting the raffle please contact us below.
